Project for 30th Street Station, Philadelphia, PA

Conceptual installation for historic 30th Street Station. Goal was to bring the city's street cart tradition into the station via a series of shops installed in a "wall" and accessed from the main level, overlooking the tracks below. Shops would open up each day with a series of unlocking and unfolding structures, engaging the station space and providing connection visually to the track activity. Drawings particularly investigated the possibility of a bookstore.
